I think there's a little horny "David" in most of us, including the Holy WTBTS' Elders. As computer savvy as most Elders are, they could easily get in and out of porn sites with little detection.

OH God, there they go again using King David as a good example to follow (par 12 & 13). Every time the WT brings up the name King David in whatever context in their literature, I think of a womanizer, cheat, chicken shit and murderer.
Why does the WTBTS hold this wicked individual in such high regard? With so many other Bible characters to choose from, can they not do any better than King David? Especially in this article about the need to pray before getting into trouble.
i am going to put together a page of short experiences of how shunning has affected exjws.
you do not have to be disfellowshipped, even if you were shunned after being marked or after fading.
all comments are welcome, such as who shunned you, how long since family have spoken to you, what your situation is, why you are being shunned and how it has made you feel.
jwfacts, my experience with shunning is mostly as an observer. The amount of needles pain, anxiety and the toll that it has taken on its' victims is too indescribably agonizing for me as an eyewitness to relate. I don't even know where to begin, and thats' because I've seen too much of it over the years.
Shunning is high on the list, along with disfellowshipping and the abstain from blood doctrine that bring the greatest reproach on "Jehovah", the God of the Bible. JWs by themselves can take the credit of bringing a world of contempt on their own God by this teaching alone! What idiotic behavior!

i just endured the painful process of trudging through the 2012 examining the scriptures daily, looking for interesting quotes.
apart from being repetitively boring, it has managed to squeeze most of the watchtower's crazy concepts into a single book.

There is hardly a need any longer for the Daily Text. Ever since it was officially discontinued as part of the meeting for field service....its' like out of sight out of mind! The C.O. brought it up recently as part of a daily routine we personally should have and I thought whaaaaaaa! Then I remembered "OOOOH Yeah, right the Daily Text!"
I figure like so many other things in JW World that have bit the dust, it too will go by way of the DoDo Bird real soon. It'll be another way to cut costs not to mention it will shave 10 minutes off each day of the circuit assembly and district convention parts.
I never could stand those "happy JW family" demonstrations where the family gathers around the breakfast table before each goes their separate way. Fact is not too many can relate to that scenario nowaday because there are soo many JW separations and divorces. The GB needs to get up to speed!

the first century brothers are on the cover, going door to door with what look like leather messenger bags.. the first article is entitled, are all "christians" christian.
and you can tell by the picture that anyone with a beard or goatee is definitely not a real christian.. the next article, remain in my word has this quote that condemns catholics but seems eerily close to what jws believe:.

I found this quote in another news article mentioning Dwayne Fagan's suicide:
"According to the Cult Awareness And Information Center and other reports , Jehovah's Witnesses commit suicide at a rate far exceeding (5-10 times greater) the general population."
I believe it. In my congregation I see the faces of many JWs that have that blank stare.... that far away look in their eye.
With the JWs' harsh form of discipline known as disfellowshipping and shunning, could this person of been a victim?
It makes me wonder! The world needs to know!
